Eric A. Chojnicki, J.D., CFP®

Head of Trust Services
Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Eric was the President of the Trust and Wealth Management Department at Midland States Bank.  In addition, he was President of Midland Trust Company a separate legal entity of Midland States Bank that focused on special needs trusts, court appointed trusts and property guardianships.  During his fourteen and a half years at Midland, he grew the department to over $4 billion in assets under his administration and oversaw a team of 90 employees.

As one of the founding members of McLane Middleton’s Trust Services Group, Jennifer is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the firm’s wealth preservation and administration practice area.  In her current position as Chief Fiduciary Officer of Trust Services, she plays a pivotal role in this group by working closely with clients, financial advisors, and fiduciaries to implement various strategies, administration of assets, and achieving service excellence.

Kim E. LaCoste

Chief Trust and Client Officer / Senior Trust Officer
Kim LaCoste is Chief Trust and Client Officer / Senior Trust Officer in the Trust Services Department. As a senior executive, Kim is part of the leadership team responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the Trust Services Department, with a continued focus on delivering exceptional client service. Her role integrates fiduciary oversight, policy implementation, and team leadership to drive organizational excellence and uphold the highest standards of trust administration.

Nicole J. Herbst, J.D., CTFA, CFP®, CFIRS®

Chief Risk and Compliance Officer/Senior Trust Officer
As the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Nicole is responsible for leading all aspects of the risk management and compliance functions within the Trust Services Group.  As a Senior Trust Officer, she is responsible for working with clients and beneficiaries, along with their financial advisors.

Associate Trust Officer
Adriana Bakhos recently joined the Trust Services Group as an Associate Trust Officer, where she contributes to the day-to-day administration of trusts and fiduciary matters. Her role includes supporting beneficiary services, reviewing trust documentation, and assisting with compliance and administrative processes. With a legal and regulatory background, Adriana approaches her work with precision, organization, and a strong focus on delivering reliable and timely client support.
Before joining the Trust Services Group, Adriana built her experience in legal, regulatory, and enforcement-oriented settings. She has worked extensively on legal research and drafting, managed sensitive and confidential records, and collaborated closely with attorneys and internal teams on matters requiring accuracy and risk awareness. In addition to her legal experience, Adriana brings a client-facing and operational perspective shaped by her work in professional services and business operations.
Adriana earned her law degree outside the United States and later completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in the U.S. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, and collaborative approach. Her combined legal training and practical experience allow her to support fiduciary administration with care, consistency, and a commitment to service excellence.

Trust Operations Specialist
As a Trust Operations Specialist in the Trust Services Department, Matthew supports Trust Officers, Trust Administrators, and fiduciaries by ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of trust operations. He works collaboratively across departments to streamline workflows, maintain data integrity, and support high-quality client service through consistent and reliable operational practices.
In his role, Matthew has developed a specialized focus on the department’s Salesforce environment, serving as a key resource for system maintenance, operational support, and process optimization. He helps ensure Salesforce effectively supports trust administration by improving system usability, supporting reporting and data needs, and aligning platform functionality with day-to-day trust operations.
Matthew brings a background in financial services, data management, and operational coordination. He holds the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Foundations, and Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist certifications. He is currently working toward Salesforce’s Advanced Administrator certification, continuing to expand his expertise in automation, reporting, and platform governance to further strengthen Salesforce’s role within Trust Services.

Tim is a Senior Trust Administrator in our Trust Services Department. Tim works directly with Trust Officers, clients, and financial advisors in Trust-related matters by diligently supporting Trust Officers in the broad scope of their account management.
Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern New Hampshire University’s Degree in Three program, majoring in Business Administration. He obtained several years of experience as a Senior Investor Service Associate with Putnam Investments, supporting premium brokers, investors, and group plan participants in managing their investments and post-death administration.

Veronica serves as a Trust Administrator in our Trust Services Department, supporting her Trust Officer through a team-oriented approach. Her strong client focus enables her to collaborate efficiently with attorneys, financial advisors, and fiduciaries, helping to ensure the seamless administration of each trust while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Veronica possesses a B.A. in Sociology and Journalism, with a concentration in Spanish Language and Literature, from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She has several years of experience providing comprehensive administrative support to senior executives in the asset management industry, working closely within the Fund Treasury and Risk Management divisions. Prior to her role at McLane, Veronica also worked as a media correspondent for various news organizations.

Kirsten is an Associate Trust Officer in our Trust Services Department.  Kirsten works directly with the Chief Fiduciary Officer to offer the highest level of services to clients, fiduciaries, and financial advisors on trust-related matters.
Prior to joining McLane Middleton in 2024, Kirsten worked for the New Hampshire Banking Department in their Consumer Credit Division as a Financial Examiner, where she engaged in periodic examinations of licensed Money Services Businesses working to ensure regulatory compliance and protect the interest of New Hampshire residents.
Kirsten received her B.A. in Business and Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies from Brandeis University in 2022 and her M.A. in International Economics and Finance with a concentration in Marketing from Brandeis University in 2023. Kirsten has aspirations to continue her education by attending law school and earning her J.D. in the near future.

Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Kristina worked at Fidelity Investments as a Pension Plan Administrator. She worked hand in hand with large scale clients and their plan participants to ensure the needs of the clients were met. Along with the administrative duties, Kristina spent her time specializing in complex pension benefit calculations and supporting highly sensitive data projects.
Kristina received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire in 2021. She also received a Business Analytics certificate from Cornell University in 2024. Kristina plans to continue her education and acquire a master’s degree.

Emily received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in Spanish and philosophy from Georgetown University. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Emily began her career working in the law library before moving to an assistant directorship in the finance office at Boston University School of Law.

As a Senior Trust Operations Specialist in the Trust Services Department, Wyatt partners closely with Trust Officers and Trust Administrators to deliver high quality, personalized client service. His reliability and thoroughness drive cross-departmental coordination to streamline operational workflows, ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures, and facilitate accurate asset reporting in collaboration with external investment advisors and fund administrators.
With over 10 years of progressive experience in legal and financial environments, Wyatt focuses on operational optimization, accounting processes, and system administration. He holds a certificate in Paralegal Studies, has completed Securities Operations I, and is actively pursuing the Certified Trust Operations Professional (CTOP) designation from Cannon Financial Institute.

Donna brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a diverse background spanning mortgage lending, retail banking, and wealth management. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong understanding of client service, regulatory processes, and operational efficiency across multiple areas of financial services.
Prior to joining the firm, Donna served as a Client Onboarding Specialist for a Registered Investment Advisor, where she was responsible for managing new client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and streamlining account setup processes. Her experience in onboarding strengthened her attention to detail and deepened her knowledge of investment advisory operations.
Donna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and has earned her Salesforce Administrator Certification, further enhancing her ability to support data management, reporting, and system optimization. In her role as Trust Administrator, she leverages her extensive industry experience, client-focused approach, and technical expertise to provide comprehensive and reliable trust administration support.

Nikka possesses a legal background with several years’ experience in civil litigation, criminal defense, probate, trust and estates, corporate, real estate, and employment law. She also has a federal compliance background which helps to ensure an extra level of security and reliability to all Trust-related matters.

Robin Jamiola is a Trust Services Administrator in our Trust Services Department. Her time as a military spouse afforded her opportunities to work for law firms in Chicago, Maine, Virginia and New Hampshire. She has 15 years of experience working in various practice areas, including trusts and estates, probate, real estate, corporate, and litigation.
Robin is currently continuing her legal education at Nashua Community College and is a volunteer of the Merrimack Youth Lacrosse program.

Kim LaCoste is Chief Trust and Client Officer / Senior Trust Officer in the Trust Services Department. As a senior executive, Kim is part of the leadership team responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the Trust Services Department, with a continued focus on delivering exceptional client service. Her role integrates fiduciary oversight, policy implementation, and team leadership to drive organizational excellence and uphold the highest standards of trust administration.
As a key member of the management team, Kim provides strategic guidance, oversees staff performance, and ensures strong alignment between client needs and organizational objectives. She directly manages the Administrative Assistants, Trust Administrators, and Senior Trust Administrators within the Trust Services Department.
Prior to joining McLane, Middleton, PA in 2022, Kim served as Vice President & Trust Officer with NHTrust for five years and Vice President & Wealth Advisor with Charter Trust Company for thirteen years. Her professional background also includes seven years of experience in office and financial management, providing her with a well-rounded operational and administrative foundation.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Keene State College and has completed specialized courses in Financial Planning at Boston University and is a National Trust School graduate in the areas of Trust Administration (Level I, II, III) with concentrations in Accounting, Investments, and Estate Planning. Kim is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association IRA Services Professional Program.

Prior to joining McLane Middleton, she worked at Bank of New Hampshire supporting Business Development Officers.
She has attended the American Institute of Banking and currently serves as Treasurer for her local snowmobile club.

Michelle has several years of banking, trust administration and operations experience. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, she worked at First Financial Trust and Darwin Trust/FL Putnam supporting Trust Officers.
Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s in business development from Endicott College. She is currently pursuing a CTFA certification from Cannon Financial Institute and has completed Trust I.

As the Trust Operations Manager, Daniele is responsible for leading her team in all aspects of data aggregation and systems processing for the Trust Services Group. Her attention to detail and analytical nature enable her and her team to provide exceptional service, even when dealing with the most complex trust structures and asset types.
She has over twenty-five years of trust operations, administrative and fiduciary accounting experience, having worked with numerous trust accounting platforms and custodial vendors. Her understanding of software functionality and data integration technologies will enable the Trust Services Group to work with a multitude of custodial platforms.
Prior to joining McLane Middleton she was the VP Financial Systems and Trust Accounting for a directed trust company, working with high and ultra-high net worth clients.

Rob is a Trust Officer serving clients, their families and their advisors in the Trust Services Group. Rob has thirty years of experience in trust administration and wealth management working with legal, investment and tax professionals for their mutual clients.
He graduated from Williams College and has completed advanced study programs at the New England College of Banking Trust School, College for Financial Planning and Northeastern University Roux Institute.
Rob has worked for national, regional and state financial institutions in New England serving trust grantors and beneficiaries from the United States, Europe, and Canada. Prior to joining McLane Middleton he was a private trust and estate consultant and managed a small real-estate investment company.

Senior Trust Officer
Cathleen is a trust and estate professional with over 25 years of experience working in the legal and financial industries. She has administered all types of trusts including special needs, charitable, family, marital and insurance trusts. She has experience holding and reporting on alternative assets including limited partnerships, private equity and real estate. She is educated in generations skipping tax, gift tax and estate taxation and has been involved with estate planning and implementation.
Cathleen graduated Summa cum Laude with her B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University.
Cathleen obtained her Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (“CTFA”) certification through the American Bankers Association in 2023.
Cathleen currently serves her community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Littleton, New Hampshire. Her community service work began in the late 90s as a classroom reader at a Boston elementary school through Boston Partners in Education. Later she became a mentor to individual students using her lunch hour to help Boston Public School students from the 1st to 3rd grades improve their reading. She also volunteered her time as a babysitter and board member for “Sitters for Scholars” (formerly “Sitters Without Borders”). In addition to her work with children, she has raised money by running and biking for various charities.

Hannah E. Teague has recently joined the Trust Services Group as a Trust Officer, where she specializes in administering complex tax and trust matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. With a background in both law and tax, Hannah brings a comprehensive, detail-oriented approach to fiduciary management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and thoughtful client service.
Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Hannah held senior roles in tax advisory firms including Johnson O’Connor, Feron, & Carucci LLP and BDO USA LLP, where she prepared a wide range of individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns. She has worked extensively on complex tax matters regarding trusts, non-profit organizations, and multi-generational client groups. She has also provided strategic guidance on foreign tax reporting and IRS compliance issues.
Hannah earned her Juris Doctor with a Tax Law Certificate from New England Law | Boston. During her law school time, she interned with the Office of the Inspector General, non-profit division. Her professional background is further distinguished by her dedication to public service and justice reform through initiatives like the CORI Project, VITA Initiative, and MakeOver Ministry.

Carol Voltz

Senior Trust – ILIT Administrator
Carol is a Senior Trust Administrator – ILIT Administrator in the firm’s Trust Services Department. She works closely with Trust Officers, clients, financial advisors, and life insurance advisors on a broad range of life insurance matters.
With over 40 years of experience supporting attorneys and clients in the trust and estates field—and more than 10 years specializing in Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs)—Carol brings deep expertise to her role.
Her prior experience includes working alongside an attorney whose practice was based in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, with more than 32 years of experience focused on trust and estate matters.
In her current role, Carol works with various Trust Officers, Trustees, Financial Advisors, and Life Insurance Advisors in managing ILIT-related tasks. These include coordinating premium contributions, preparing Crummey notices, and working with financial advisors and insurance companies to ensure timely premium payments. She also maintains and updates records related to contribution due dates, premium schedules, policy information, KYC documentation, and trust reporting.
